Nenagh AFC B
Clodiagh Rangers entertained Nenagh AFC 'B' in Drombane on a wet and windy Sunday afternoon.

The home side fell behind to an early goal when poor marking from a set piece was severely punished. Clodiagh went on to dominate the first half and spurned a host of chances to restore parity.

Firstly, an Ailbe O'Donoghue shot was well saved after Denis McCullagh slipped him through on goal. Both Matt Ryan and Gareth Foxton had shots from inside the area deflected narrowly wide and over the bar respectively. Barry O'Loughlin saw a first time volley at the back post shave the top side of the cross bar, before the same player turned provider with an inviting left wing cross that Andrew Quirke headed narrowly over.

The second half brought more of the same from the Drombane side with Paul Doyle going close on a number of occasions. Unfortunately the longer the contest continued without an equalizer the more vulnerable that the home side became on the counter attack and Nenagh double their advantage with twenty minutes to play from a neat counter attacking move through the centre. With time running out, the visitors fired a third goal after Clodiagh failed to clear their lines adequately from a corner kick to leave a distorted look on the score line.
