Nenagh Celtic B
Clodiagh Rangers welcomed bottom of the table, Nenagh Celtic 'B', to Drombane on Sunday morning looking to build on a positive result away to Arra Rovers 'A' the previous week and prevailed with a convincing win.

The home side dominated the proceedings from early in the game and found themselves ahead with just minutes on the clock after some direct build up play that saw Mark Quinlan cut in from left and tee up Ger Grant who finished from close range.

Clodiagh Rangers continued to move the ball with confidence and found themselves two up after the Nenagh goalkeeper saved well from a Mark Quinlan snap shot only to see his hard work undone by Grant who pounced on the rebound. Ger Grant completed his first senior hat trick inside fifteen minutes, and effectively killed the game as a contest and the visitors were limited to efforts from distance and set pieces, which were ably dealt with by the Clodiagh Rangers rearguard.

The home team were four goals to the good when again, Mark Quinlan slid an inch perfect pass for Paul Doyle to run on to, who cleverly lobbed the advancing goalkeeper. It was more of the same in the second half when Paul Doyle doubled his tally for the day after he ghosted in at the back post to meet a great pass from substitute Shane O'Dwyer. Mark Quinlan also got in on the act with a well-deserved goal.

Nenagh Celtic finally got on the score sheet with a well-placed strike from distance, but suffered an almost immediate setback when they were reduced to ten players with the away teamís frustration manifesting itself in an ill-timed tackle. Matt Ryan and Greg Fewer got their names on the score sheet in the closing stages to round off the scoring.
