Clodaigh Rangers 'B' entertained Lateragh Celtic in their last home game for the 2010/11 season and were in high spirits following their home win against Rearcross 'B' last Sunday.

With the wind advantage Lateragh Celtic did most of the attacking in the first half and as Clodiagh Rangers failed to retain possession in the middle of the pitch Latteragh created a number of chances to score.

The home side's luck eventually ran out and the visitors pounced for two goals in five minutes, both from very close range, with Corcoran and Ryan on the mark.

Clodiagh Rangers started to play better football towards the end of the half and were rewarded when Colm Stapleton played Patrick Purcell through to half Lateragh Celtic's advantage.

With wind advantage in the second half Clodiagh Rangers were well on top and had an abundance of chances to score.

Disaster struck however when a counterattack from the visitors resulted in a penalty and a red card for John Ryan. Pat Ryan restored Lateragh Celtic's two goal advantage from the penalty spot.

Clodiagh brought on Donnacha Cullagh to add an attacking threat, but it was his brother Seamus whose quick freekick created an opening for Colm Stapleton, who beat the keeper to reduce the arrears to one.

Clodiagh Rangers had run out of time however and Lateragh Celtic left with all the points.
