Clodiagh Rangers 'B' entertained Moneygall 'B' in Drombane on Sunday morning, and following a good run of results had a strong match day squad to choose from with three points expected for the home team.

As it transpired Clodiagh Rangers thoroughly dominated the contest and after a number of early half chances, Eoin Shortt opened the scoring when he finished with a shot from twenty yards.

Minutes later Pat Phelan made it two, when he finished from close range and Shortt was on hand again before half time to give Clodiagh Rangers a three goal lead at the break.

Into the second half and it was more of the same from a rampant home side with Eamon Cullagh getting his name on the score sheet. Clodiagh Rangers let Moneygall off the hook with a missed penalty kick before a rare Moneygall attack yielded a consolation goal for the visitors' with Paul Bentley on the mark.

This strike was cancelled out however when Cullagh struck again for his second right on the final whistle to round off the scoring. This win sees Clodaigh climb into the top three.
