Borrisokane B
Clodiagh Rangers 'B' entertained Borrisokane ‘B’ in terrible weather conditions in Drombane on Sunday afternoon, but made light work of the conditions whilst recording a convincing victory.

With an unchanged line up from the previous weekend, Clodiagh stormed out of the blocks and hit the lead inside twenty minutes when Jack Ryan rose highest to head home a corner kick. The home team failed to extent their lead before half time despite Keith Ryan and Andy Kinane working the keeper.

Kinane was not to be denied at the start of the second half however and his lobbed effort doubled the Drombane side’s lead five minutes after the restart. Clodiagh continued to dominate proceedings and Jack Ryan wrapped up the three points midway through the half when he finished emphatically from the edge of the area. Borrisokane through caution to the wind in an effort to carve a route back into the game, but this strategy left them exposed in defence, and second half substitute Paul Ryan capitalized to complete the scoring for the hosts.
