David Considine
Darragh Brennan 3
A hat trick from Darragh Brennan ensured Clodiagh took maximum points from this evening's encounter.

David Considine got the ball rolling with an early left footed strike. Patrick Lowry pressurised the visitor's centre backs who consequently lost possession in their penalty area.

Considine picked up the pieces and he made no mistake from 10 yards. The second followed soon after when a long ball by Patrick Lowry found Darragh Brennan in an advanced position.

The out running keeper got the initial touch but Brennan's determination won the ball back and he slotted home.

Clodiagh were determined to keep the pressure on and they added a third just before the break, this time from a corner.

Domink Pastorek rose highest in the opposition box and his header was blocked on the line. The clearance dropped to the feet of Brennan who grabbed his second of the half.

Clodiagh dominated the second period and grabbed a fourth early on. A superb David Considine free kick was flicked on by Darragh Brennan past the keeper to make it 4.

Clodiagh continued to look for further goals and were unlucky not to add to their tally. The team showed some great attacking prowess but were equally competent in defence with each player excelling.
