Clodiagh Rangers C' travelled to Portroe to face on Sunday afternoon. Clodiagh Rangers opened brilliantly, creating numerous problems for their opponents, and deservedly went ahead after fifteen minutes. A flowing move involving Shane Kinane and Jack Spillane created a shooting opportunity for James Coffey who blasted home from just inside the area.

The same trio continued to cause problems for the hosts in the first half but Clodiagh Rangers could not add to their lead. The visitors paid the price for not putting daylight between the sides on the score board when, on the stroke of half time, a dangerous Arra Rovers cross was deflected into the net off a luckless Clodiagh Rangers' defender.

Clodiagh Rangers began the second half brightly again, and James Coffey was unlucky not to score his second when his long-range effort hit the bar. Arra Rovers began to assert themselves after the hour mark and created a few half chances however the Clodiagh Rangers defence managed to keep them at bay.

The away side had a late shout for a penalty when Shane Kinane was taken down by the Arra Rovers keeper however the referee waved play on, leaving Clodiagh Rangers still in search of a league win, but can be satisfied with a solid away day performance.
