Clodiagh Rangers C' travelled to a wins swept vocational grounds in Nenagh on Sunday last looking to build some momentum after a positive result against Arra Rovers 'B' last time out. Nenagh Celtic started much the brighter and took an early lead when Robbie Lawlor found some room inside the area and drilled a low shot into the bottom corner past David Carey. Clodiagh Rangers recovered well and dominated the remainder of the half with Pat Phelan's long-range effort levelling the match ten minutes before the break. The Drombane side had to battle into a strong wind in the second half that tipped the possession scales in favour of Nenagh Celtic. Clodiagh Rangers largely restricted their hosts to a few half chances in the second half but survived a scare on the hour mark when a headed effort rattled the Clodiagh Rangers woodwork. The visitors almost snatched all three points late on, but both James Coffey and Niall Grant were denied by an in-from Nenagh keeper.
