BT Harps
Clodiagh Rangers
Meabh Brennan 2
Katie O'Dwyer 2
Our U12 girl's team take pride of place this week, following a dramatic Cup semi final win over Premier Division champions BT Harps in Templemore last Friday night.

Harps had gone through the season unbeaten up to now but the Clodiagh girls didn't read the script and stormed into a three goal lead within the first 20 minutes.

The home side gave their chances a boost with two goals just before half time and then levelled the match midway through the second half with a tidy finish.

The tie then went to extra time and it was Meabh Brennan who fired home the winner for Clodiagh with seven minutes to go to seal a fantastic victory for the hard working Drombane girls.

Scorers for Clodiagh were the equally impressive Meabh Brennan and Katie O'Dwyer who got two apiece while manager Declan Carr will also be delighted with the displays who Clodagh Morris, Kate Carr and Gracie Ryan in a solid defensive performance when required.

Clodiagh now face the winners of their own Division Borrisokane away in the final expected to be played this coming Friday night.
